Summer Activities Abound.
Summer is here and with it the Airpark becomes an adventure center with families and friends coming to join in the fun. This morning a group of 20 set off for Smiley Creek to start a week long rafting trip on the Salmon River. Two weeks before, 4 Husky’s and a Katmai set off for the Middle Fork Lodge at Thomas Creek in the backcountry where fly-fishing and gourmet meals got rave reviews.
Closer to the Airpark, the Jackson Hole Art Fair was on last weekend. Another one comes to Jackson’s Miller Park August 10-12 which is not to be missed for the high quality of the art and the wonderful atmosphere.
One of our residents recently had their children and grandchildren staying and every day was an adventure. Fly-fishing lessons day one, Yellowstone National Park day two, Murphy lake with kayaks day three, rafting the Snake River day four, horse-back riding at the Rockin’ M Ranch just south of the Airpark day five, and by day six, the grandparents laying on their hammocks recovering, with the volleyball game in the back ground. How great to have your family look forward to spending time together making memories to last a lifetime.
