Pilot’s like Flying!

The mountains are alive with the sound of springtime – Wildflowers are busy showing off and the snow up high is almost gone. Residents of the Alpine Airpark (when not flying) have been out hiking the trails, mountain biking and enjoying the warm days and cool nights.

Last weekend a group of AirCam planes and their pilots flew into Alpine Airpark on their way to the AOPA Fly-in at Missoula Montana. The AirCams took an early morning scenic flight around the Star Valley and returned awed by the scenery especially from the front row seat of these amazing planes. They redefine low and slow – and guarantee National Geographic quality photos.

If you are a fan of mountain men and women and the old western ways, this coming weekend June 22nd through the 24th is the Alpine Mountain Days on Main Street in Alpine: food, fun and mountain men camp and activities.

If you have been thinking about making a trip to Alpine Airpark, this coming weekend would be a fun weekend to visit. Include a drive up to the Teton National Park or include a flight up to West Yellowstone.
